I got this super cute game back during the BLM sale and thought it was abandoned, it's so cool to know that there might eventually be an Act 3! Take all the time you need; I just thought I'd let you know I really enjoyed it.

same here!!

This was lovely! Sappho and Cithara are my favorites<3 Looking forward to Act 3~

(+2)

I bought this in the Games for Gaza bundle and absolutely loved it <3 Great work, looking forward to the next Act to be released :)

(+3)

I come back every couple months and play through the storylines again. What a fun game! Hope your team is happy and healthy :) Whether you finish the full game or not, know you have brought joy into at least one person's life!

(+2)

Thank you so much, that really means a lot 💖
We are actually still working on the game and have been making more progress again recently! So we definitely still want to complete it.
It's really encouraging to hear that you keep coming back to Brassica, and we hope you'll enjoy the next parts of the story as well when they are finally done!

Is there a way to customize the MC's name?

(+3)(-1)

Hi! We wanted Saffron (the MC) to be a more defined character, so his name is not customizable

(+2)

I am obsessed with this game! It's funny, heartwarming and very very gay. I really hope act 3 will come out soon.

I just played through the available acts and I'm really enjoying this! As soon as the princess was introduced I laughed because I had somewhat of an idea of where this was going. I love that she has agency in the story and isn't willing to settle for less than exactly what she wants and should have.

It took me a little to get a read on the main character - his botanical knowledge made me think he'd have more outdoorsy skills, but I guess since he's a prince, most of his knowledge comes from books, tutors, and botanical gardens. He seems like he's got a really good heart even if he's skittish and lacking in practical skills.

I love the theatrical presentation! I did prop-making for our theater group in high school and I'm reminded of the occasional funny prop or scenery failure, and how magical it is to see it all come together, regardless.

I'm looking forward to the next act, whenever it comes out. My sister and I have done some game development and the stuff we've done didn't require anywhere near as many assets or as much writing, but still takes time, so I get that it's not a quick process and can be hard to schedule. I hope you're able to work on it from a place of enjoying the art you're making and not stressing too much about deadlines.

I think my favorite part so far about this has been the narrator. It really gives life to the play concept. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Acts in the future!

Is there a poly route?

(+4)

Hi! Right now there is no poly route, but we are considering the possibility of including one in the later Acts of the game 👀

(+1)

Super cute, fun style, love how their outfits are kind of royal but also sports wear?? :D Look forward to the full version!

Really cute romance game, with some really nice world building despite a fairly satirical setting! Pretty funny and relatable, though the MC choices are a bit too shrimpy for my liking (it's still alright and doesn't completely remove me from the experience.) I can't really write on the story due to spoilers, but ultimately I just want to say Act 2 opens up all the characters a lot better than Act 1, so even the unlikable characters start to gain some favor.

The whole plot is incredibly short at this point (I burned through it in 2 hours.) but more to come overtime and you can replay for different scenes, responses, and romance currently. It's not perfect, but it's definitely a nice breath of fresh air while sticking to a lot of commonplace troupes and genre favorites.

I really enjoyed it, and I'm hoping Act 3 is going to release soon... I'd had this on my to-play list for a while now and I'm both glad I did, and wishing I'd waited until there was more out!

Agreeing with everybody else that I'd love a poly-triad route.

(+6)

A cute-looking game, I am curious if a full version is still in the works. I would rather play once the full version is out (I got this in last summer's BLM bundle). I'll be keeping my eye on this

(+2)

I can't wait for the next part to come out! I played when I bought the Bundle for Racial Equality and I'm still waiting on this, one computer later!

(+3)

in love with this game, all the characters (odes my favorite) and their interactions are very charming and the art is so pretty! cant wait to see how the story continues (also, idk if a polyamorous route is in the works but i would be so thrilled if it was an option :eye:)

(+1)

Man I can't wait for this game to be finished its so cute!

(+4)

I LOVE this visual novel. The art is adorable and the dialogue was informative yet interesting. It instantly pulled me in. One thing I did notice was a small typo - Act 2, when they're at the Limit, Ode says "what bandit what do that?" when I think you meant "what bandit would do that?" Anyways, I can't wait for the next Act!

(+2)

Really fun! Cute art and characters

(+3)

I really enjoyed the game, please continue with the great work! The characters and art are so cute!

(+3)

which character do we play :D

(+2)

The protagonist is Prince Saffron! (the one with black hair and the golden/red outfit)

(+2)

oh he cute!

gross

Hi, if you have any concerns about the game, feel free to contact us via email or Twitter DMs

I binged the first two acts and I'm super sad that I can't play the rest yet! The whole start of the game I just went "I hate these dorks" and now I'm like "I love these dorks" - I'm going for Hans though. I hope there will be a special ending you can get where it's a poly triad, because that could be kinda cute.

(+4)

definitely what I'm hoping for!

(+4)

I binged the first two acts without realizing and am now eagerly awaiting the next! I love the fact that traditional fairy tale tropes are turned on their heads, and the addition of gayness is frankly right up my alley!
